Vicarious Trauma – When Another’s Pain Becomes Our Own

When we are exposed to the trauma of other people, it impacts our own mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Left unrecognized and untreated, vicarious trauma can be a significant contributing factor in depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, and burnout. This one-day workshop provides scientific research on the effects of vicarious trauma and effective ways to prevent and recover from it. Full day or half-day workshop.

Energy Centers and the Chakra system

The Chakra system is known as the subtle body, an electrical field around us. We know our hearts conduct electricity, as obvious when a person needs a pacemaker to maintain a steady heart rhythm. When we suffer from anxiety, confusion or physical pain, becoming in touch with the subtle energy systems within our bodies can heal and transform suffering into wisdom and health. This 7-week experiential learning course includes gentle body movement, breath practices and sound meditation.

Creating A Thriving Culture

As Peter Drucker said, “… culture eats strategy for breakfast”. Research show that the most common reason people either stay or leave organizations is not about money – it’s about the culture. Yet culture is often “the elephant in the room” that no one talks about or acknowledges. Positive cultures are created and recent data tells us what the essential factors are to make that happen. This 6-week course uses research-based approaches for intentionally creating an organizational culture that will attract, develop and retain quality, thriving professionals.
